![]() Printing settings for guidelinesWhen you publish a guideline to PDF, you can configure the way your printed guideline looks by setting the page layout, selecting which node details to include, specifying the document information that must be displayed on the header, footer, or cover page, and more. You can also create presets to reuse the printing settings you created. Code list viewer enhancementsThe Code list viewer in the Guideline editor supports search for codes within the list, multiple codes editing, filtering, and more. ![]() Support for EDIFACTSupport for the EDIFACT standard has been added. You can view and print EDIFACT guidelines, work with envelopes, and validate data against EDIFACT guidelines. ![]() Application SwitcherYou can move to any of your Smart Trading Cloud applications using the button that represents the application on the navigation bar. My Profile paneIn the My Profile pane, you can view your contact and your account information. You can also go to your organization's account settings, if you have administrator permissions. ![]() Administrator permissions for specific foldersAccount administrators can grant administrator permissions to the artifacts located in the Workspace directory to simplify the process of working with artifacts within a team. Support for keyboard shortcutsYou can use keyboard shortcuts to manage items in the Cloud Repository. ![]() Edifecs Library enhancementsTo make your user experience better, the user interface of the Library directory has become more visually attractive and simple. The Library resources have been logically structured and categorized for you to easily navigate through the contents. When the library administrator updates the Library resources or adds new artifacts, you see a notification on the Cloud Repository toolbar. The new and updated items carry the tags New, New Version, or Updated, so that you do not miss the Library updates. Import and export propertiesTo work with custom artifact properties efficiently, you can download the properties file to your file system, edit the properties locally, and then upload the file back. You can use this option for the artifacts that have a number of properties, or when you need to add or edit large texts in property values. ![]() Guideline structure enhancementsYou can insert envelopes into your guideline document from several sources (from the Standards database or from your custom guideline) and view their hierarchical structure on the guideline tree. Adding guideline envelopes ensures efficient information exchange and helps avoid validation errors. ![]() Data Analyzer enhancementsThe Cloud Data Analyzer has been enhanced to improve your user experience post validation and to help you investigate validation errors with ease. ![]() Data AnalyzerYou can validate data files against a corresponding guideline document online in the Cloud Repository without having to export your files to a third-party analyzing tool. The ability to analyze data in cloud allows you to access your analyzing results from anywhere and share them with your partner right from your cloud workspace. ![]() Add user notesYou can add user notes to a guideline node when you have to add company- or industry-specific implementation details that you can include to the printed guideline. You can leverage the embedded multi-functional notes editor to enrich the formatting and layout of your notes, and to add hyperlinks, tables, and so on. ![]() Guideline EditingWith the Smart Trading Cloud Repository, you can easily view and modify your custom guideline specifications or a standard guideline documents to help meet your business or transaction requirements. The new guideline editor allows you to view guidelines as comprehensive business documents and is divided into two panes. The left pane displays a nested guideline tree structure that represents the nodes within a guideline. For example, for EDI guidelines the structure represents the top-level envelope, its EDI groups (if any), and the transactions within each group. When you select a guideline node from the left pane, the details of the node are displayed in the right pane. You can perform the following tasks when you edit a guideline in the Smart Trading Cloud Repository: ![]() Edifecs LibraryThe Library directory has been introduced to give you access to useful resources for your business tasks, such as guidelines, code lists, sample profile images, maps, and many others. It allows you to use the Library directory as a repository with reference artifacts that have been directly shared by Edifecs in a read-only mode. Contact Edifecs support at support.edifecs.com to get access to the required resources in this directory. If no artifacts or templates have been currently shared with you, the Library directory does not appear on the user interface. ![]() Guidelines creationYou can create a new specification guideline document based on one of the many published standards supplied with the Smart Trading Cloud Repository. It allows you to publish a new guideline to PDF, or save it to you repository to share the guideline with other users, or download it to your local drive. |
