Edifecs Library

The Library directory is a repository that contains reference guidelines, code lists, sample profile images, maps, and many others. The contents of this directory are shared with Cloud Repository accounts to offer these account users ways to employ best practices and patterns for use in typical business scenarios. For more information on the artifacts shared in the Library directory, visit the Edifecs Library Help Center.

Files and folders located in the Library directory are shared in a read-only mode. This means that only an Edifecs library administrator can upload files, create and remove folders from this directory.

If you need an artifact or template, contact Edifecs support at support.edifecs.com. The library administrator will give account administrator access to the required resources in the Library directory who in turn will share them with you. The artifact or template (resource in the Library directory) can also be shared as a direct link.

The library administrator regularly uploads new artifacts and updates the existing ones to keep the library contents always up-to-date. The new and updated items carry the tags New, New Version, or Updated and, on the toolbar, a notification appears, which you can click to see the details of the update.

Note If no artifacts or templates have been currently shared with you, the Library directory does not appear on the user interface.

The contents of the Library directory are logically structured. On the Library page, you find categorized sections that contain packages of files and folders and/or groups of packages.

In the Library directory, you can:

  • Sort artifacts by name, size, or modification date
  • Search for specific artifacts by name
  • Change to the grid or cards view mode
  • View an artifact's description
  • Download one or all the available packages as a .zip archive and view the download progress in the Jobs list
  • Copy a web link to a package, group, or section

Also, watch the video tutorial that demonstrates how to start working with the Edifecs Library.

For advanced options, if you are an account administrator, you can change to the technical view mode ( on the toolbar) that allows you to:

  • Share the Library artifacts with other users
  • Download specific files
  • Copy web links to specific files
  • Copy run-time links that Edifecs products use to reference the Library artifacts at run-time
  • View the history of versions of a shared artifact with comments added by the library administrator and save any version of a required resource to your Cloud Repository folders or download a version to your local drive.
