XEngine Server Module for FHIR Overview

With Edifecs XEngine Server (XES) Module for FHIR, you can jump-start your FHIR development based on the Smart Trading platform without investing any significant time and resources. It provides you with out-of-the-box mapping scenarios to help mapping between clinical data standards and the FHIR standard that allows you to use your current data standards in the FHIR work flow.

FHIR makes healthcare data understandable, structured, and standardized. With clinical and medical data increasingly becoming digitized, both payers and providers are trying to find ways to exchange data and analytics fast and in a secure manner. XES Module for FHIR allows the receiving of HL7/CCD/Claims data and the loading of it into the FHIR server as FHIR resources and establishes eligibility request/response communication between FHIR-complaint and HIPAA-compliant parties (converts EDI 270, 271, and 837 transactions into the FHIR format). XES Module for FHIR also allows you to:
