Welcome to Member Account Service

The Member Account service is the out-of-the-box cloud SaaS solution for storing and managing your plan members' identities. The service is fully-compatible with the Edifecs Smart Trading products, for example, you can configure XEServer Module for FHIR to retrieve member IDs from the cloud Member Account service. The Member Account service can be integrated with your member applications to ensure your members' accounts security and privacy, which helps you comply with HIPAA regulations without having to use any third-party infrastructures.

The service is designed as an identity provider tailored for secure member accounts' management requirements. The solution handles the storage and authentication of your members' credentials and enables your members to access their medical resources through your applications securely. With the Member Account service, you can create, maintain, and manage your members' accounts, thus allowing your health plan members to self-register to access credentials to their clinical/ financial data hosted on your resource server.

With the Member Account service, you get an effective identity management solution that allows you to:

• Store all the members in one domain from where it is easier to retrieve the member ID and other relevant information for each member.
• Have a single end-to-end user login to the resource server through the third-party applications (Single sign-on).
• Provide two-factor authentication to your members' accounts.
• Have a configurable user interface of a login page, registration, account management, and access recovery.
• Set access permissions (full or read-only) for your plan account users to define their functions in the system.
• View logs of user and member access events, account modification events, and users' operations.
• Control applications' access through the REST services.
