CCD ViewerWith XES Module for FHIR, you can create a CCD file using the FHIR resources stored on the FHIR server. It allows you to share a patient's medical history with non FHIR compliant partners. The Clinical Document View improves usability of your XML clinical documents. The overabundance of information in clinical documentation makes it time-consuming to find relevant data needed to make decisions on patient treatment without missing important information. Usually, for computer processing, these documents are represented in a machine-readable format. That makes it difficult for a human to locate important data interspersed between the symbols and characters. XES Module for FHIR provides the Clinical Document View to render complex CCD documents in a format that allows you to view and manage your clinical data. The CCD (Continuity of Care Document) is a document standard that defines the semantics and structure of electronic clinical documents transmitted by patients and healthcare providers. The CCD documents are coded in XML and can be interpreted by machines and also read by humans as a result of the rendering process. In the CCD document structure, the data is nested the following way: Header - Body - Section(s) - Narrative Block - Entry(s). The Header reflects the type of the content as a whole, which is useful for document management. The Body includes content divided into sections that contain a Narrative Block and Entries. The Narrative Block has human readable content and the Entry represents machine-readable content to be processed by a computer. To view CCD:
