Trade Relationships

In order to implement the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processing rules, you would have to establish a Trade Relationship with your partner. You can specify the EDI Transactions that can be exchanged between you and your partner. You can further specify the guidelines, severity files and so on for processing those transactions in Edifecs Run Time Engine (XEngine).

Trading Partner Management's Trade Relationships module supports HIPAA, X12, and HL7 standards and allows you to create and manage trade relationships. You can choose to create custom trade relationships for custom document types such as PFF, DFF, XML etc. The Trade Relationship module allows you to set up trade transactions with your partners and define rules and guidelines for those transactions. As an Administrator or a Partnership Owner, you can:

• Create and define transactions/messages for test or production environments
• Set the configuration for transactions/messages
• Add as many trade relationships as required, for a particular standard and version
